"Thirteen Words" Now Live on IGMS
My story, "Thirteen Words", is now up in Issue 33 of Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show. The illustration accompanying it is by Nicole Cardiff.
I wrote the original version of this story during Viable Paradise 16 last year based on a prompt and an item I was given, but I'll go into that in more detail in an upcoming post on the IGMS blog Side-Show Freaks.
"The Butcher of Londinium" wins 1st Place in the 3rd Annual Intergalactic Awards
I also found out today that my IGMS story from last year, "The Butcher of Londinium", placed 1st in the IGMS reader's choice awards for 2012. Excitingly, the illustration for my story also won for best cover.

I received an email on Monday from Edmund Schubert, Editor of OSC's Intergalactic Medicine Show. He's buying my story "Thirteen Words" for the next issue of the magazine. This marks my second sale to IGMS.
Like every story in IGMS, it will have an accompanying illustration. I loved the one for my previous story, and I can't wait to see what this one looks like!

My short story, "The Butcher of Londinium", is eligible for the 2012 Nebula and Hugo Awards. It was published in Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show Issue 29 (July/August 2012).
If you're a SFWA member, the story is also available for download from the SFWA forums here.
I'm in my 1st year of eligibility for the Campbell Award.
